The Miniature White House is a detailed miniature replica of the White House created by miniaturists John and Jan Zweifel.

Featuring exact representations, this miniature mansion is a large, 60 feet long by 20 feet wide, replica that took John and Jan Zweifel and a dedicated corps of volunteers more than 35 years to research, design, and construct.

Its construction began in 1962, on a 1 inch to 1 foot scale. It was created in painstaking detail, and features miniature replications of almost all the rooms in the White House, from the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden (picture 1) to the Lincoln Bedroom (picture 2), including the East Wing, West Wing and the Oval Office.

From the tiny working telephones, hand-carved chairs and tables, crystal chandeliers, portraits exactly like those that grace the White House's walls and miniature carpets that reproduce the originals stitch by stitch-each nuance of the White House is painstakingly reproduced to capture the elegance of one of the world's most recognized residences.

It has toured every U.S. state as well as several foreign countries while on tour in the 1970s and early 1980s. While touring in Holland, the replica was attacked by a group of anti-American vandals, who significantly damaged most of the model, but all was eventually repaired.

Fu creata nei minimi dettagli e vi si possono ammirare, replicate in miniatura, quasi tutte le stanze della Casa Bianca: dal giardino di Jacqueline Kennedy (vedi foto) alla camera da letto di Lincoln (vedi foto), l'ala est e l’ala ovest e l’Oval Office, il famoso ufficio del Presidente degli Stati Uniti d’America.
I minuscoli telefoni, le sedie e i tavoli intagliati a mano, i lampadari di cristallo, i ritratti, i tappeti , tutto è minuziosamente riprodotto a testimonianza dell'eleganza di una delle residenze più famose e affascinanti del mondo.
The Miniature White House fu esposta in ogni stato degli USA e in numerosi paesi stranieri durante il 1970 e agli inizi del 1980.
Durante il tour in Olanda fu gravemente danneggiata da un gruppo di vandali anti-americani, ma fu successivamente riparata.
